Two Days in the Life of

I hope you had a weekend filled with fun! Starting off my four day weekend with a kick I went out to dinner at Pacci's with my friend Grace, you can check out her blog here. We started off the meal with delicious bruschetta and an arugula salad. Then we had a delicious vegan pizza, Grace insisted on a cheeseless pizza, I was skeptical at first but was pleasantly surprised by how yummy it was.
The next morning I slept in late, thoroughly enjoying the time change. Then Grace and I took off again, riding the metro to the National Gallery of Art, and thats where the pictures come in. As I walked around, I took pictures of pictures of paintings and sculptures that interested me.
We started off our exploration of the museum in the West Building. Here are some of the pieces that I fell in love with:

The Adoration of the Magi

CARLO CRIVELLI

Samuel H. Kress Collection 1952.5.6

Bianca Maria Sforza

AMBROGIO DE PREDIS
Milanese, c. 1455-after 1508

 Giuliano de' Medici

ANDREA  DEL VERROCCHIO
Florentine, 1435-1488
Andrew W. Mellon Collection 1937.1.127

We ended our day with a glance at the East Building's more modern art:

All in all the past couple of days have been a blast! Hope your weekend was amazing and next weekend try visiting the National Gallery, it's FREE!!!
